This research investigates the manufacturing and characterisation of polyester-based composites reinforced with jute fibres and red mud particulates. The motivation stems from the need for sustainable, high-performance materials for applications in industries, like aerospace and automotive, where resistance to erosion is critical. Jute, a renewable fibre, combined with red mud, an industrial byproduct, offers an eco-friendly alternative to conventional composites.

One of the major applications of such high-carbon steels is the manufacturing of multipoint cutting tools for materials such as metallic card clothing. The quality of the yarn is determined by the transfer efficiency of the doffer wire, which depends on its saw tooth geometry.

The pollution caused by several industries, including the dye industries, generates a large volume of wastewater containing dyes and hazardous chemicals that drains industrial effluents. The growing demand for readily available water, as well as the problem of polluted organic waste in reservoirs and streams, is a critical challenge for proper and sustainable development.

Nanoparticles dispersed in a variety of conventional fluids can change the flow and heat transmission properties of the fluids. The mathematical technique is used in this work to investigate the MHD water-based nanofluid flow via an upright cone.

The guidelines recommend that rising thyroglobulin or thyroglobulin antibody should prompt additional investigations and potentially additional therapies. Two patients with differentiated thyroid cancer who also received intravenous immunoglobulin are presented.

Methods: A literature review was performed using the PubMed and Google Scholar databases.
Results: Hypoglycemia is uncommon in people who are not on glucose-lowering medications.
In the current world situation, population and industrial growth have become major problems for energy and environmental concerns. Extremely noxious pollutants such as heavy metal ions, dyes, antibiotics, phenols, and pesticides in water are the main causes behind deprived water quality leading to inadequate access to clean water. In this connection, graphite carbon nitride (GCN or g-CN) a nonmetallic polymeric material has been utilized extensively as a visible-light-responsive photocatalyst for a variety of environmental applications.

The control of rotaviral infection within hospital settings is challenging due to prolonged shedding of the virus and contamination of the surrounding environment. There are few studies that have reported asymptomatic infection within neonates.

Although diabetes technology is increasingly being used in individuals with CFRD, there is a paucity of data investigating the impact of hybrid closed loop (HCL) technology on glycemia in this patient population. In this multicenter retrospective study of 13 adults and adolescents with CFRD, 14 days of continuous glucose monitor data were analyzed at baseline, 1 and 3 months after transition to the Tandem t:slim X2 pump with Control IQ™ technology, a HCL system.

Industrial wastewaters originating from various industries contribute as a major source of water pollution. The pollutants in the wastewater include organic and inorganic pollutants, heavy metals, and non-disintegrating materials.

Since there are no effective antiviral drugs for treatment, clinicians often rely on the accurate diagnosis of dengue fever to begin supportive therapy at early stages of the illness. The objective of this study was to develop an in-house dengue virus serotype 2 (DENV-2) non-structural protein- 5 (NS5) based indirect ELISA.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe endemicity and seasonal outbreaks of Dengue disease in most tropical and subtropical countries underscores an urgent need to develop effective prevention and control measures. Development of a Dengue vaccine, which is complicated by the Antibody Dependent Enhancement effect (ADE), a viral inhibitor, seems prudent as it would inhibit the spread of the virus. In vitro methods such as MTT assay and plaque formation unit reduction assays were employed for screening the viral inhibitory property of α-amino acid based Thiosemicarbazides.
