Objective Breast cancer patients who receive chemotherapy may develop cancer therapy-related cardiovascular toxicity, particularly if they have pre-existing cardiovascular risk factors. Notably, right ventricle dysfunction may manifest before the left ventricle. Our study aims to compare conventional echocardiography with global longitudinal strain (GLS) in low cardiovascular risk patients on low-dose anthracycline, focusing on early cardiotoxicity detection.

Our study aimed to investigate the rheological parameters of blood and nitric oxide (NO) content in patients with various degrees of collateral development and the likelihood of the influence of blood fluidity on collateral angiogenesis.
Methods: We studied patients with stable CAD who underwent elective coronary angiography and a control group with the same mean age.
Coronary collateral circulation (CCC) has been shown to have a prognostic role in acute myocardial infarction (MI). We aimed to identify factors associated with CCC development in patients with acute myocardial ischemia. In the present analysis, 673 consecutive patients aged 27 - 94 years (64.

The OPTIMIZE Heart Failure Care program has a global network of investigators in 42 countries, with first-hand experience of the impact of the pandemic on HF management in different care settings. The national coordinators were surveyed to assess: 1) the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic for continuity of HF care, from both a hospital and patient perspective; 2) the organizational changes enacted to ensure continued HF care; and 3) lessons learned for the future of HF care.

As optimal treatment for hospitalized HF patients in sinus rhythm with heart rate≥70bpm is unclear, we investigated the impact of combined beta-blocker (BB) and ivabradine versus BBs alone on short and longer term mortality and rehospitalization.
Methods And Results: A retrospective analysis was performed on 370 hospitalized HF patients with heart rate≥70bpm (150 BB+ivabradine, 220 BB alone) in the Optimize Heart Failure Care Program in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan, from October 2015 to April 2016.
The aim of the study was to assess differences in ECG features and prevalence of comorbidies between two groups of patiens: with Abdominal Aortic Aneurism (AAA) and Aorto-Iliac Occlusive Desieses-Lerish Syndrome (LS). Data was collected for all consecutive adult patients who underwent elective surgical repair of AAA (fusiform aneurysm) or LS at "The Center of Vascular and Heart Diseases" (Tbilisi, Georgia) between 2010 and 2014. We studied a prevalence of Arterial Hypertension (AHT); Diabetes mellitus (DM); Renal Failure (RF),Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) and rate of coronary revascularization in these patients; We also, investigate some of the electrocariographic characteristics: Corrected QT interval(QTC),QT dispersion(QTD).

Of the 320 patients with suspected STEMI who underwent angiography over a 2-year period we identified 23 (7.2%) patients without significant coronary artery disease.

Majority of heart rhythm abnormalities in athletes, suggested being benign, however, prognostic value of it is not yet well established. Purpose of the present study was to investigate heart rhythm and relationship of heart rhythm abnormalities with LV mass in veteran elite athletes.

Unlabelled: Present work was aimed to study QT dispersion changes during exercise and relation of it with LV myocardium mass in veteran elite athletes. 31 veteran athletes aged 30-50 years and 31 age-matched healthy controls were studied. In all of them QT dispersion (QTd) at rest and during exercise test was evaluated.

From this group the most special attention was attracted to peridopril-esbumin. High efficiency of this preparation has been corroborated by numerous controlled, multicentral investigations.

Total and local left-ventricular functions were assessed on the basis of the ejection fraction.
