Solar energy is the most promising among many renewable energy sources to meet the increasing demand. Photovoltaic (PV) based power generating solutions are expected to gain popularity as a power source for different applications, including independent and grid connected loads, due to their cleanliness, high performance, and high dependability. The efficacy of photovoltaic systems is impacted by several elements, including geographical location, positioning, shadowing effects, and local climate conditions.

Aims: We report a series of patients with Electrical Storm (ES) who underwent bilateral stellate ganglion ablation by using conventional radio frequency (RFA).

Methods And Results: The procedure was done with fluoroscopic guidance using the COSMAN™ 1A RF Generator and a 22G RF needle (5 cm length and 5 mm active tip). Six patients, four male and two female (mean age 55 ± 7 years and mean LVEF-42 ± 21%) with ES underwent the procedure under fluoroscopic guidance.

In this study, full-length (1282-1330 bp) α-expansin 1 () gene from three different accessions belonging to complex (-, - and spp. hybrid-) was isolated using RAGE technique and characterized. The intronic and coding regions of isolated expansin genes ranged between 526-568 and 756-762 bp, respectively.

Background: The physiologically mobile natural tooth and rigidly fixed dental implant causes different distribution of stress when connected in prosthesis and nonrigid connector compensates this. Understanding of biomechanical behavior is necessary for an adequate choice and construction of this type of rehabilitation. However, there has been insufficient research focusing on different location and type of the nonrigid connector related with the prognosis of both implant and the tooth.

Background: Post-infarction ventricular septal rupture (VSR) is a rare but lethal mechanical complication of an acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Survival to 1 month without intervention is 6%. Given high surgical mortality, transcatheter closure has emerged as a potential strategy in selected cases.

Transverse vaginal septum is a rare anomaly that results from incomplete fusion of urogenital sinus, and the vaginal parts of the Mullerian duct. Cervical atresia/dysgenesis is still a rare uterovaginal anomaly that can be congenital or acquired leading to fertility problems. Transverse vaginal septum when it coexists with cervical dysgenesis, it becomes a rare combination where management becomes highly complex.

The crux of the black hole information paradox is related to the fact that the complete information about the initial state of a quantum field in a collapsing spacetime is not available to future asymptotic observers, belying the expectations from a unitary quantum theory. We study the imprints of the initial quantum state contained in a specific class of distortions of the black hole radiation and identify the classes of in states that can be partially or fully reconstructed from the information contained within. Even for the general in state, we can uncover some specific information.

Purpose: This study aimed to compare the viscoelastic properties and antimicrobial activity of a soft liner with and without silver zeolite for a period of 4 weeks.

Materials And Methods: Thirty edentulous patients wearing complete dental prostheses were selected. A uniform space was created in the intaglio surface of their maxillary prosthesis, and a soft liner without silver zeolite (control material: S) was applied.

Prosthetic rehabilitation of extensive maxillectomy defects are exigent given the difficulties faced due to loss of palatal bone, teeth and surrounding supporting tissues which help in retention, support and stability of the prosthesis. An interim maxillary obturator is a prosthesis which is made after surgical resection of a portion or all of one or both maxilla where initial healing is completed. Frequently many or all teeth in the defect area are replaced by this prosthesis.

Context: To improve the flexural strength of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA).

Aim: To evaluate whether the incorporation of titanium dioxide nanoparticles in polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) increases the flexural strength and to compare the different concentrations of titanium dioxide nanoparticles and its relation to flexural strength.

Settings And Design: Study was conducted in Sri Ramachandra University utilizing 40 specimens manufactured from clear heat polymerizing acrylic resin.

Success of the prosthesis after mandibular resection is related directly to the amount of the remaining bone and soft tissue present. The prognosis for mandibulectomy patients becomes less favorable as the size of the resection increases. Prosthetic rehabilitation for such patients is a challenge for clinicians.

Conventional beading and boxing procedure is time consuming and involves application of heat that might distort green stick compound used for border molding. Earlier studies regarding beading and boxing methods have shown usage of various materials that were disposable and that cannot be recycled. To reduce the time consumed for beading and boxing procedure and to make this procedure cost-effective by using recyclable beading material, "Preformed boxing appliance" with moldable clay meant for beading the secondary impression was used.

Osseointegration, defined as a direct structural and functional connection between ordered, living bone and the surface of a load-carrying implant, is critical for implant stability, and is considered a prerequisite for implant loading and long-term clinical success of end osseous dental implants. The implant-tissue interface is an extremely dynamic region of interaction. This complex interaction involves not only biomaterial and biocompatibility issues but also alteration of mechanical environment.
