Prosthetic rehabilitation in multifaceted dental abnormality needs sequential planning to ensure adaptation of oral and associated musculature. Reduction of tooth structure before adaptation of oral and associated components may complicate the treatment modality if compliance of the musculature is poor. Hence, the fabrication of over-provisional in esthetic rehabilitation enables to assess of the success of the treatment plan preoperatively before invasive trials.

PRP used along with growth hormone helps in bone healing and tissue regeneration in the areas affected by bone and soft tissue-related defects. It aids not only in faster and better healing of the surgically debrided area but also in regeneration of the bone at a faster rate.

Methods: One hundred five of 140 participants were categorised into Groups I, II and III according to their body image satisfaction. Pre- and posttreatment denture satisfaction questionnaires, and pretreatment Big Five personality, Life Satisfaction questionnaires were given to the participants in each group.
Statement Of Problem: Edentulism has been associated with sensoneurinal hearing reduction, but whether hearing is improved by the provision of an implant-retained overdenture is unclear.
Purpose: The purpose of this pilot clinical study was to provide completely edentulous participants with implant-retained complete overdentures and to evaluate the effect on their hearing ability by pure tone audiometry (PTA).
Material And Methods: Fifteen completely edentulous first-time denture wearers were enrolled, and their hearing was evaluated with PTA for air conduction and bone conduction at 6 time intervals: before denture insertion (R1), after denture insertion (R2), 1 month after denture insertion (R3), on the day of suture removal after implant surgery (R4), 3 months later, at the time of loading (R5), and 1 month after implant loading (R6).

Background: Single piece implant in fixed prosthesis is widely been evaluated, however, long term evaluation of crestal bone loss and the wear of O-ring in single piece ball attachment implant supported overdenture is yet to be evaluated PURPOSE: The present article evaluates the crestal bone loss around single piece ball attachment implants placed bilaterally in the canine region and the wear of O-ring in implant supported overdenture over a period of three years.
Materials And Methods: Twelve completely edentulous patients between the age group of 55-65 years were selected. Two 3.
The gag reflex is a physiological reaction, which safeguards the airway from foreign bodies. In some people, this response is exaggerated to the extent that the acceptance/provision of dental treatment becomes impossible. Management of patients with gagging involves many different approaches.

Purpose: To prospectively analyze the changes in brain activity and cognitive function of completely edentulous patients in edentulous state, with dentures and two-implant supported mandibular overdenture before and after loading, along with the effect of mastication in the change - a pilot study.
Materials And Method: Ten completely edentulous (CE) non-denture wearers were selected.
We selected 254 subjects between the ages of 18 and 30 yr to assess the ear position, angulations of the ear in relation to the nose, visibility from the frontal view, and dimensions of the ear by using various anthropometric points of the face. Subjects were divided into four groups based on facial form. A reference plane indicator, facial topographical measurements, metal ruler, and digital photography were used.

Awareness of the tooth contacts relationship in centric relation position of the mandible and diagnosing the case from this position is essential to consistently select treatment plans that will allow to treat to or very near to centric relation occlusion. Centric slide and other occlusal relationships are conceived of as positions, which can be studied in three dimensions.

The study also aimed at comparing the OHRQoL, masticatory performance, and crestal bone loss with two different types of overdenture prosthesis.
Materials And Methods: Ten completely edentulous patients with atrophic mandibular residual alveolar ridges and having difficulty coping with technically adequate mandibular dentures were selected for implant-supported overdentures (ISOD).
This preliminary study investigated the effect of a mandibular advancement device on upper airway collapsibility in seven patients with obstructive sleep apnea. Overnight polysomnography and dynamic magnetic resonance imaging were performed at the retropalatal and retroglossal levels, and the apnea-hypopnea Index(AHI), anteroposterior and lateral distances, and airway volumes were recorded. The tests were repeated following a 3-month period of wearing a customized mandibular advancement device.

Aims: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the stress pattern in the cement layer and the fixed prosthesis, on subjecting a three-dimensional finite element model to simulated occlusal loading.
Materials And Methods: Three-dimensional finite element model was simulated to replace missing mandibular first molar with second premolar and second molar as abutments.
Purpose: The study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of implant supported tooth replacement in diabetic patients.
Materials And Methods: The study involved placement of implants (UNITI implants, Equinox Medical Technologies, Zeist, Holland, diameter of 3.7 mm and length 13 mm) in five diabetic patients (three females and two males) of age ranging from 35-65 years with acceptable metabolic control of plasma glucose.
This case report describes the prosthetic rehabilitation of a patient who was treated for ameloblastoma by segmental resection of the mandible. Because of the size of the defect it was decided to use a healing obturator to facilitate bone formation in the defect. At the end of 3 months, bone formation had led to complete obliteration of the defect with an almost complete fill to the crest of the ridge.

Materials And Methods: Seven patients ranging between 16 and 26 years of age were recruited for this study. These subjects had velopharyngeal dysfunction secondary to a surgically corrected cleft palate, which failed to improve following pharyngeal flap surgery.
