Background And Objectives: Neuromodulation is an advanced therapeutic intervention for managing various neurological, psychiatric, and functional disorders. However, a significant challenge is the risk of infections at the device implantation site. Previous studies have shown that antibacterial envelopes used in cardiovascular surgeries significantly reduce infection risk.

Intracerebroventricular baclofen therapy improves function and quality of life in a child with severe cerebral palsy.

Limited therapies are available for severe cerebral palsy children (CP) with complex movement disorders, especially when both dystonia and spasticity are present. In this publication, we present the improvement of a child with severe CP after intracerebroventricular baclofen therapy. The treatment can impact not just the movement disorders but also on the quality of life of the child and caregivers.

Cerebellar hemorrhage as a complication of spine surgery.

Background: The association between remote cerebellar hematoma (RCH) and spinal surgery is poorly understood and rarely reported. We present seven cases of RCH after spinal surgery.

Methods: Seven patients were diagnosed with RCH utilizing computed tomography and/or magnetic resonance, between 2012 and 2016.

Background: Previous studies on the correlation between cervical sagittal balance with improvement in quality of life showed significant results only for parameters of the anterior translation of the cervical spine (such as C2-C7 SVA).
