[Determination of immunoglobulin fractions in the blood serum of El Tor cholera patients and carriers].

The authors present the results of examination of patients and carriers of El Tor vibrios for the purpose of detection in their blood sera of individual immunoglobulin fractions. The content of three immunoglobulin fractions (A, G and M) was determined by radial immunodiffusion after Mancini in 118 blood sera of 50 patients with cholera and in 61 sera from 31 vibrio carriers. Blood sera of 23 apparently healthy persons were examined for control.
