In recent decades, annual urban fire incidents, including those involving ancient wooden buildings burned, transportation, and solar panels, have increased, leading to significant loss of human life and property. Addressing this issue without altering the surface morphology or interfering with optical behavior of flammable materials poses a substantial challenge. Herein, we present a transparent, low thickness, ceramifiable nanosystem coating composed of a highly adhesive base (poly(SSS-co-HEMA)), nanoscale layered double hydroxide sheets as ceramic precursors, and supramolecular melamine di-borate as an accelerator.

Chemical oxygen demand (COD) is a key indicator for monitoring water quality, which reflects the degree of organic matter pollution in water bodies. However, the current methods for determining COD values have drawbacks such as slow speed and complicated operation, which hardly meet the demand of online monitoring.

Pre-harvest sprouting (PHS) significantly impacts yield and quality, making the breeding of PHS-resistant varieties crucial for ensuring China's wheat production security. This study evaluated the PHS rate of 344 white-grained wheat varieties over two consecutive growing seasons (2022/2023 and 2023/2024).

Design: A cross-sectional study.
Objective: This study aimed to explore the molecular response mechanisms of differential blood metabolites before and after 8 weeks of threshold and polarized training models using metabolomics technology combined with changes in athletic performance.
Methods: Twenty-four male rowers aged 14-16 were randomly divided into a THR group and a POL group (12 participants each). The THR group followed a threshold training model (72%, 24%, and 4% of training time in low-, moderate-, and high-intensity zones, respectively), while the POL group followed a polarized training model (78%, 8%, and 14% training-intensity distribution).
Aqueous halogen batteries are gaining recognition for large-scale energy storage due to their high energy density, safety, environmental sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. However, the limited electrochemical stability window of aqueous electrolytes and the absence of desirable carbonaceous hosts that facilitate halogen redox reactions have hindered the advancement of halogen batteries. Here, a low-cost, high-concentration 26 m Li-B-C-O aqueous solution incorporating lithium bromide (LiBr), lithium chloride (LiCl), and lithium acetate (LiOAc) was developed for aqueous batteries, which demonstrated an expanded electrochemical stability window of .

Although multiple risk factors have been identified, no systematically validated prediction model exists to guide clinical decision-making.
Objectives: This study aimed to develop and validate a risk prediction model for CPSP in patients undergoing VATS for lung cancer.
Previous studies on natural samples of pampaloite (AuSbTe) revealed the crystal structure of a potentially cleavable and/or exfoliable material, while studies on natural and synthetic montbrayite (Sb-containing AuTe) claimed various chemical compositions for this low-symmetry compound. Few investigations of synthetic samples have been reported for both materials, leaving much of their chemical, thermal, and electronic characteristics unknown. Here, we investigate the stability, electronic properties, and synthesis of the gold antimony tellurides AuSbTe and AuSbTe (montbrayite).

By using such a generalized definition, we investigate the origins and conservation of polarization defects across the whole Brillouin zone. We found that the mode crossings due to Brillouin zone folding contribute to the emergence of polarization defects in the entire Brillouin zone.

Background: Recently, deep learning has become a popular area of research, and has revolutionized the diagnosis and prediction of ocular diseases, especially fundus diseases. This study aimed to conduct a bibliometric analysis of deep learning in the field of ophthalmology to describe international research trends and examine the current research directions.
Methods: This cross-sectional bibliometric analysis examined the development of research on deep learning in the field of ophthalmology and its sub-topics from 2015 to 2024.
Bacteriophages are viruses that target bacteria, playing a crucial role in microbial ecology. Phage proteins are important in understanding phage biology, such as virus infection, replication, and evolution. Although a large number of new phages have been identified via metagenomic sequencing, many of them have limited protein function annotation.

Numerous chronic human disorders are associated with immune activation by obscure antigen(s). We identified a novel sarcoidosis-epitope (ChainA) by immunoscreening of a novel T7 phage library and confirmed an abundance of ChainA IgG-antibody in sarcoidosis. We tested whether ChainA epitope elicits immune responses through B-cell activation, plasma cell differentiation and antibody production.

In response to these problems, this paper presents a lightweight algorithm DA-DeepLabv3 + based on densely connected and attention mechanisms. Firstly, the lightweight MobileNetV2 network is employed to replace the Xception feature extraction network, thereby reducing the number of model parameters.

The presence of PbO in the flue gas can poison FeCe catalyst, reducing its denitrification efficiency. In this work, the mechanism of PbO poisoning of FeCe catalyst, along with the effects of W and Co co-doping on the NO oxidation performance and PbO resistance of FeCe catalyst were investigated. The S of FeCe catalyst decreased and the crystallinity increased obviously after PbO poisoning.

The present study suggested that hypoxic TC cells enhanced cancer stem cell properties and progression of TC by delivering long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 665 (LINC00665)-containing exosomes. Specifically, TPC1 cells were exposed to normoxic or hypoxic environment, and it was found that hypoxic TPC1 cells-secreted exosomes (H-exo) were enriched with LINC00665, compared to normoxic TPC1 cells-derived exosomes (N-exo).
