The ever-increasing use of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) has significantly improved cancer management, but at the cost of frequent immunologic side effects. Among them, neurologic immune-related adverse events (nirAEs) are less common but pose a challenge to clinicians due to their severity, heterogeneous nature and nonspecific clinical presentation, making diagnosis complex. The prognosis of these nirAEs, especially those related to the central nervous system (CNS), correlates with their rapid recognition and therapeutic management.

Cerebrovascular and neurological diseases exhibit sex-specific patterns in prevalence, severity, and regional specificity, some of which are associated with altered cerebral blood flow (CBF). Females often exhibit higher resting CBF, but understanding the impact of sex per se on CBF is hampered by study variability in age, comorbidities, medications, and control for menstrual cycle or hormone therapies. A majority of studies report whole brain CBF without differentiating between gray and white matter or without assessing regional CBF.

Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy, a recent sub discipline of forensic genomics, leverages the high throughput and sensitivity of detection of next generation sequencing and established genetic and genealogical approaches to support the identification of human remains from missing persons investigations and investigative lead generation in violent crimes. To facilitate forensic DNA evidence analysis, the ForenSeq® Kintelligence multiplex, consisting of 10,230 SNPs, was developed. Background: Since 2011, five educational and healthcare institutions have implemented a short interprofessional education (IPE) course to bring together undergraduates from five disciplines. To meet the logistical challenges of IPE implementation, more specifically, the large number of classrooms needed to gather students together and the need for human resources to guide learning activities, a face-to-face IPE course was redesigned into a blended (online and face-to-face collaborative learning activities) IPE course. In March 2023, 183 medical, 378 nursing, 46 radiologic technology, 69 physiotherapy, and 74 occupational therapy students participated in a one-day IPE blended course to learn interprofessional team functioning and dynamics, role clarification and responsibilities of other professions, and interprofessional communication skills.

Gain-of-function mutations in stimulator of interferon gene 1 (STING1) result in STING-associated vasculopathy with onset in infancy (SAVI), a severe autoinflammatory disease. Although elevated type I interferon (IFN) production is thought to be the leading cause of the symptoms observed in patients, STING can induce a set of pathways, which have roles in the onset and severity of SAVI and remain to be elucidated. We report on an evaluation of an optical clock that uses the ^{2}S_{1/2}→^{2}D_{5/2} transition of a single ^{88}Sr^{+} ion as the reference. In contrast to previous work, we estimate the effective temperature of the blackbody radiation that shifts the reference transition directly during operation from the corresponding frequency shift and the well-characterized sensitivity to thermal radiation. We measure the clock output frequency against an independent ^{171}Yb^{+} ion clock, based on the ^{2}S_{1/2}(F=0)→^{2}F_{7/2}(F=3) electric octupole (E3) transition, and determine the frequency ratio with a total fractional uncertainty of 2.
