species are used as herbal medicine and in the preparation of decoctions in several Asian and African regions. Among them, the plant is known for its medicinal properties, but comprehensive studies on its biological activity are still limited. This study examined the properties of the essential oil (EO) extracted by and collected in Morocco during the flowering period.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the access to mental health services in Italy and to assess the socioeconomic and citizenship inequalities for the same outcome.
Methods: A population-based longitudinal open cohort of residents aged ≥ 10 years was established in three large centers covering about 6 million beneficiaries (nearly 10% of the entire population) of the Italian National Health Service (NHS) from 01 January 2018 to 31 December 2021.
Background: Concern about post-CAR T-cell lymphomas has recently emerged. Analysis of pharmacovigilance data contributes to continuous safety monitoring, especially for newly authorized medicines, like CAR-T therapies.
Research Design And Methods: Individual case safety reports (ICSRs) reporting at least one CAR T-cell therapy as a suspect drug were extracted from the Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System database up to 6 February 2024.
Medical devices used for functional or esthetic purposes improve health and quality of life; however, they are not risk-free. Anaplastic large-cell lymphoma (ALCL), associated with breast implants, is a well-known and recognized distinct lymphoma entity. More recently, additional lymphomas have been reported in relation to prosthesis other than breast implants, as these allow the pericyte to develop into a clone that undergoes a maturation process, progressing toward full malignancy.

Therefore, they are considered the ideal targets to indirectly evaluate the health of an entire ecosystem. Teleost fishes, particularly those that occupy the highest trophic levels, can accumulate toxic substances through their diet.

This study reports early experience utilizing GT in upfront brain metastases with a focus on clinical applications and perioperative safety.
Methods: The STaRT Registry (NCT04427384) was queried for all patients receiving GT for upfront metastases from August 2021 to August 2023.
In clinical practice, mental health professionals face diagnostic and therapeutic challenges daily. The diagnostic identification of mixed states allows the management of diagnostic and therapeutic trajectories appropriately. In our study, we evaluated 484 patients at a psychiatric rehabilitation center.

Background: In obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HOCM), disopyramide is used in patients who remain symptomatic despite -blockers or verapamil. However, effectiveness of disopyramide therapy has not been clearly established due to inconsistent definition of responders and the insufficient length of follow-ups reported in literature. To address these shortcomings, we have conducted a retrospective analysis from detailed databases with long follow-up, from two HCM Referral Centers.

Early detection of the phenotypic expression of the disease in genetic carriers without LVH (Gen+/Phen-) is crucial for emerging therapies. This clinical study aims to identify echocardiographic predictors of phenotypic development in Gen+/Phen-.

We investigated the prognostic role of natremia in pretreated RCC patients with BMs receiving immunotherapy.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective multicenter study included RCC patients with BMs receiving nivolumab as second-line therapy or beyond.
Background: Although nivolumab prolongs overall survival (OS) in pretreated patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC), underlining clinical and biological features of long-term responses are still to be determined. This study aims to investigate clinical and pathological characteristics of mRCC patients who achieved long-term responses during nivolumab treatment.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on mRCC patients receiving nivolumab as second or further therapy line between May 2016 and January 2019 in 34 Italian Oncology Centres.
Introduction: Penile squamous cell carcinoma (PSCC) is a rare tumor with an aggressive behavior. The Meet-URO 23/I-RARE registry includes rare genitourinary malignancies. We extracted patients with PSCC to conduct a retrospective study aimed at assessing clinical outcomes and prognostic factors.

Whilst the direct effects of mCRP on endothelial cells have been characterized, the interaction with blood monocytes has, to our knowledge, not been fully defined. Here we showed that mCRP caused a strong aggregation of both U937 cell line and primary peripheral blood monocytes (PBMs) obtained from healthy donors.

Adults with T cell leukaemias and lymphomas, collectively called T cell cancers, have short survival and lack such targeted therapies. Thus, T cell cancers particularly warrant the development of CAR T cells and antibodies to improve patient outcomes.

In these countries, the hospital emergency departments may represent the only or the main point of access to health-care services. Thus, the hospitalization rates may reflect both the health system organization and the patients' health status.

Some patients experience disease response after initial progression or durable responses after treatment interruption. In clinical practice, immune checkpoint inhibitors may be continued after radiological progression if clinical benefit is observed.

As recommended by World Health Organization (WHO), screening programs should consider whether the inclusion of HPV self-sampling as a complementary option within their existing screening algorithms could address the gaps in current coverage. However, few HPV screening tests are validated for self-sampling according to international guidelines.

This study explores the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the differences in mental health status and healthy behaviors between adolescent males and females.
Methods: An online questionnaire exploring sociodemographic characteristics, living conditions, mental health, behaviors, and relationships during the implementation of the COVID-19 social restriction measures, was administered to 16-18 years old high school students living in the metropolitan area of Turin.
Importance: Low sodium levels have been associated with negative outcomes among patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) receiving therapies other than immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs).
Objective: To investigate the role of natremia in patients with mRCC receiving nivolumab as a second-line or subsequent therapy.
Design, Setting, And Participants: In this retrospective cohort study, the clinical and biochemical data of patients with mRCC receiving nivolumab were collected from October 2015 to November 2019 as part of a multicenter Italian study.

Background: The addition of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and bone metastases to the IMDC classification provided by the Meet-URO score, resulted in higher prognostic accuracy in metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) patients receiving ≥2nd line nivolumab or cabozantinib in 2 retrospective analyses and 1st line nivolumab-ipilimumab in an expanded access programme. Prognostic estimates for older mRCC patients might be key for clinical decision-making.
Methods: The outcome of real-world older (≥70 years) mRCC patients treated with any line cabozantinib within the multicenter observational prospective ZEBRA (Meet-URO 9) study was analyzed according to the baseline Meet-URO score.
Introduction: Breast implant-associated anaplastic large-cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) is a rare form of non-Hodgkin T-cell lymphoma associated with breast reconstruction post-mastectomy or cosmetic-additive mammoplasty. The increasing use of implants for cosmetic purposes is expected to lead to an increase in BIA-ALCL cases. This study investigated the main characteristics of the disease and the factors predicting BIA-ALCL onset in patients with and without an implant replacement.

This analysis of the INVIDIa-2 study on influenza vaccination in patients with cancer treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) assessed NLR and SII on overall survival (OS) by literature-reported (LR), receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC)-derived (ROC) cutoffs or as continuous variable (CV). NLR and SII with ROC cutoffs of <3.
