Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are increasingly used in the treatment of cancer. However, immune-related adverse events are prevalent in patients receiving ICI therapy. A serious immune-related adverse event is ICI-myocarditis, which is complex to diagnose given that the significance of early symptoms and biomarker trajectories, such as high-sensitivity troponin T (hs-TnT) are unclear.

However, the mechanisms of AMB resistance remain poorly understood. Here we investigated 441 in vitro- and in vivo-evolved C.

The acute regulation of CSF pH is dependent on the transport of HCO across the choroid plexus in the brain ventricles. Acute regulation in response to acidosis is dependent on H export and HCO import across the plasma membrane.

The results show that early signs of acid retention (a low acid/base score) are associated with a higher risk for CKD progression. Future research should address if a low urine acid/base score can be improved and if this translates into clinically meaningful effects.
