Psychological implications of living kidney donation are of great importance, both during preliminary psychiatric assessment and post-donation follow-up. Particulate matter 2.5 (PM) is the most harmful component of air pollutants, increasing inflammation and changing gut microbiota, favoring obesity, type 2 diabetes, and Alzheimer's Disease (AD).
