Objective: While some patients may require surgical treatment a lot of patients do recover on conservative treatment alone while the optimal treatment being unclear. The purpose of this study was to treat the PT-RCTs conservatively for a period of 6 months and to determine its clinical outcome, radiological outcome on MRI and the baseline clinical factors predictive of that outcome.
Methodology: All patients with a partial tear of supraspinatus and/or infraspinatus on their 1st MRI and aged 18-80 years were eligible and 47 patients (22 males, 25 females) were enrolled.
Objectives: To explore trends in hospitalization rate, resource use, and outcomes of Kawasaki Disease (KD) in children in the United States from 2008 to 2017.
Methods: This was a retrospective, serial cross-sectional analysis of pediatric hospitalizations with International Classification of Disease diagnostic codes for KD in the National Inpatient Sample. Hospitalization rates per 100 000 populations were calculated and stratified by age group, gender, race, and US census region.
Objectives: Although a growing body of evidence suggests that early transition to oral antimicrobial therapy is equally efficacious to prolonged intravenous antibiotics for treatment of acute pediatric osteomyelitis, little is known about the pediatric trends in peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) placements. Using a national database, we examined incidence rates of pediatric hospitalizations for acute osteomyelitis in the United States from 2007 through 2016, as well as the trends in PICC placement, length of stay (LOS), and cost associated with these hospitalizations.

Study Design: This was a retrospective, serial cross-sectional study using data from the NIS. Inclusion criteria were: GA less than or equal to 30 weeks, hospitalization at less than or equal to 28 days of age, assignment of International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD9-CM) or ICD10-CM codes for BPD and tracheostomy.
