Red tide is caused by the accumulation of Karenia (K.) brevis, which produces brevetoxin (BTx), a neurotoxin. Excreted BTx is incorporated into sea spray aerosol (SSA), which is created from the bursting of bubbles at the ocean's surface.

Methods: A total of 2063 patients with medial UKA using the Oxford® mobile partial knee implant were analyzed between July 2014 and September 2022. Various preoperative and postoperative radiographic parameters determining pre- and postoperative alignment and implant positioning, incidence and characteristics of periprosthetic fractures, and patient demographics were assessed.
Heat emitted by buildings and other infrastructure accumulates in the subsurface. This additional heat can cause a pronounced shift in thermal boundary conditions of the important groundwater ecosystem. Shallow groundwater systems in Central Europe are often inhabited by communities of fauna adapted to cold and stable conditions as well as microorganisms, whose activity is dependent on ambient temperatures.

Objective: Evaluation of long-leg standing radiographs (LSR) is a standardised procedure for analysis of primary or secondary deformities of the lower limbs. Deep-learning convolutional neural networks (CNN) offer the potential to enhance radiological measurement by increasing reproducibility and accuracy. This study aims to evaluate the measurement accuracy of an automated CNN-based planning tool (mediCAD® 7.
