Leprosy is a chronic, infectious, and debilitating disorder that primarily affects the skin and peripheral nerves. The disease course may be complicated by immune-mediated reactions during or after therapy, which may further worsen nerve damage. Type II lepra reaction (T2LR) is a painful inflammatory condition with systemic features, such as fever, tender erythematous nodules, arthritis, neuritis, orchitis, lymphadenitis, and iritis.

Background: National Medical Commission (NMC) in their recent notification included Family Adoption Program (FAP) in the undergraduate curriculum to provide a learning opportunity towards community-based health care to Indian medical graduates. This study is carried out to explore and know strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges of FAP.

Materials And Methods: FAP were used to gather data using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and in-depth interviews of the stakeholders of the program.

Intracranial chondrosarcomas are rare malignant lesions. Both skull base and dural-based extraosseous chondrosarcomas have been reported to occur intracranially. Dural-based chondrosarcomas arising from the falx cerebri are rare lesions with only 19 cases reported till date.

Effect of external volume expansion on the survival of fat grafts.

Introduction: External volume expansion (EVE) is one method, which has been utilised for increasing the survival of adipose tissue grafts. EVE releases positive pressure from the graft and also induces intense levels of edema that decreases diffusion of metabolites essential for graft survival initially. The ideal timing of external volume expansion in relation to the injection of the fat to facilitate survival is not yet clear.
