Temporal epidemiological profile of oral potentially malignant disorders in southern Brazil.

The study aimed to investigate oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs) diagnosed in an Oral Pathology service in southern Brazil over a span of 56 years and to assess the factors influencing their severity and outcomes. A retrospective analysis of histopathological records from 1965 to 2021 was performed. Lesions diagnosed as leukoplakia, erythroplakia, leukoerythroplakia, or actinic cheilitis were included.

We present the results of a search for the b→dℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} flavor-changing neutral-current rare decays B^{+,0}→(η,ω,π^{+,0},ρ^{+,0})e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+,0}→(η,ω,π^{0},ρ^{+})μ^{+}μ^{-} using a 711  fb^{-1} data sample that contains 772×10^{6}  BB[over ¯] events. Dentists play a pivotal role in the early detection of oral cancer. Consequently, they are expected to possess the knowledge and the capability to recognize the features of this disease. The objective of the study is to evaluate dentists from different regions of Brazil regarding their level of knowledge and self-confidence regarding oral cancer.

Background: Oral cancer screening requires analysis capable of detecting changes preceding the clinical manifestation.
