Objectives: To investigate the associations between gadolinium-based contrast agent (GBCA) administration and the occurrence of acute kidney injury (AKI) in pediatric patients, and to determine the risks associated with AKI.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study was conducted on pediatric patients who underwent contrast-enhanced or unenhanced MRI between January 1st, 2015, and June 30th, 2021. Examinations were included if they had data on height and serum creatinine levels within 3 months before and 2 days after the examinations.
Introduction: The ZAP-X® Gyroscopic Radiosurgery System (ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc., San Carlos, CA, USA) is expected to be a highly accurate next-generation treatment system that enables gyro-stereotactic irradiation of intracranial lesions. In this study, we report the initial treatment course using ZAP-X for intracranial lesions that recurred after Gamma Knife (GK) treatment.

Background: Tolerance of enteral nutrition following percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy is a barrier to discharge. This study investigated the impact of an expedited feeding protocol following percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy on postprocedure length of stay (LOS).
Methods: We performed a before-and-after cohort study on hospitalized adults in whom percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy was placed by surgeons following the implementation of a standardized feeding protocol in which enteral feeds were resumed at the preoperative rate 6 h later.
This study investigated the effect of light on emission of various volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds (VOCs and SVOCs), from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products using xenon lamp as a solar light simulator. The emission flux generally decreased over time, with the light-induced targeted ∑VOC flux being about 1.6-times higher than heat-induced flux during the initial 1-h exposure.

We designed a library of 92,918 peptides fused with transmembrane domains of glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored proteins (GPI-APs). We employed a pooled lentiviral system to promote the expression of these proteins at the cellular membrane and evaluate their ability to activate GPCRs.
