Influence of parathyroid hormone (PTH) and hydrocortisone (HC) on growth and development of teeth during prefunctional period has been studied, employing radioactive tracers. Biosynthetic and reproductive activity of cells is estimated in the molar and incisor tissues. It has been established that PTH accelerates the process of local resorption of the bone along the alveolar crest, but does not influence upon the teeth growth, functional and reproductive activity of the pulp cells.
