Numerous studies have investigated the impact of resistance training (RT) and plyometric training (PT) set configurations (cluster sets [CS] and traditional sets [TS]) on lower body performance adaptations. However, the effects of these training modalities on upper body physical performance, particularly among Table Tennis (TT) players, remain unclear. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the effects of an 8-week RT and PT using CS and TS configurations on the physical performance attributes of male TT players.

Article Synopsis
  • The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a treatment combining venetoclax, decitabine, cytarabine, and homoharringtonine for pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) post stem cell transplantation (HSCT).
  • Data from 29 pediatric patients who relapsed or had minimal residual disease after HSCT were collected, showing an overall response rate of 75.8% and a significant improvement in complete remission rates, though serious adverse effects were common.
  • The findings suggest this treatment regimen is promising for salvage therapy in pediatric AML, but highlights the need for timely transplant procedures after achieving remission to improve long-term survival rates.

Measurable residual disease (MRD) after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is an independent risk factor for relapse in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). This study aimed to assess the efficacy, safety, and immune reconstitution of chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy in patients with molecular relapse after allo-HSCT. Eleven patients with molecular relapse of B-cell-ALL who underwent CAR-T therapy after allo-HSCT were enrolled.

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) associated post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders (PTLD) are one of the most severe complications after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). This study includes 31 cases of aplastic anemia (AA) patients who developed PTLD after haploidentical transplantation, summarizing their clinical characteristics and categorizing them into either rituximab monotherapy group or combination therapy group based on whether their condition improved by 1 log after a single dose of rituximab. The incidence of PTLD after HSCT in children with AA was 10.

Tin diselenide (SnSe), a layered transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC), stands out among other TMDCs for its extraordinary photoactive ability and low thermal conductivity. Consequently, it has stimulated many influential researches on photodetectors, ultrafast pulse shaping, thermoelectric devices, etc. However, the carrier mobility in SnSe, as determined experimentally, remains limited to tens of cmVs.
