Background: The P300 is a positive auditory event-related potential appearing around 300 msec post-oddball stimulus onset. Tone and monosyllabic stimuli have been widely used in P300 research, providing valuable insights into auditory perception, phoneme discrimination, language processing, and other cognitive processes. Bi-syllabic minimal pairs may be more challenging for some individuals because they require processing and discrimination of more complex phonemic structures.

DNA gyrase, an ATP-dependent enzyme, plays a critical role in DNA replication, transcription, and recombination in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB). While fluoroquinolones are effective antibacterial agents targeting DNA gyrase, their clinical use is often limited due to side effects and the emergence of bacterial resistance. In this study, we developed a quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) model to predict the anti-tubercular activity of Quinoline-Aminopiperidine derivatives targeting the DNA gyrase enzyme, using a dataset of 48 compounds obtained from the literature.

Seaweeds (macroalgae) are an attractive resource for diverse microbial- and enzymatic production processes. They are abundant, underutilized, cheap, and rich in carbohydrates, and therefore have the potential to be used as a source of mono- or oligosaccharides, and as substrates for industrial fermentation processes. Many seaweed polysaccharides, including the sulfated polysaccharides ulvan and fucoidan, are however complex and heterogenous in structure, and there are currently few enzymes available to modify them, and understanding of their enzymatic depolymerization remains limited.

In patients with heart failure (HF) who respond inadequately to loop diuretic therapy, BMS-986308, an oral, selective, reversible renal outer medullary potassium channel (ROMK) inhibitor may represent an effective diuretic with a novel mechanism of action. We present data from the first-in-human study aimed to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) following single ascending doses of BMS-986308 in healthy adult participants. Forty healthy participants, aged from 20 to 55 years, and body mass index (BMI) from 19.
