Background: Cryopreservation is a crucial procedure for safeguarding cells or other biological constructs, showcasing considerable potential for applications in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
Aims: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of different cryopreservation conditions on human cells viability.
Methods: A set of cryopreserved data from Department of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (DTERM) cell bank were analyse for cells attachment after 24 h being revived.
Programming cell signaling during T-cell activation represents a simple strategy for improving the potency of therapeutic T-cell products. Stim-R technology (Lyell Immunopharma) is a customizable, degradable synthetic cell biomimetic that emulates physiologic, cell-like presentation of signal molecules to control T-cell activation. A breadth of Stim-R formulations with different anti-CD3/anti-CD28 (αCD3/αCD28) antibody densities and stoichiometries were screened for their effects on multiple metrics of T-cell function.

It is designed to be made up of five circular, annular rings nested inside of each other. Three annular rings are positioned and merged on top of the larger rings, with two annular rings set along the bottom of the feed line.

Methods: The molecular docking investigation was carried out by the genetic algorithm program of AutoDock Vina. The molecular dynamic (MD) simulation investigations were conducted using the Desmond tool of Schrödinger molecular modelling.
Given the broad biological effects of the Hedgehog (Hh) pathway, there is potential clinical value in local application of Hh pathway modulators to restrict pathway activation of target tissues and avoid systemic pathway activation. One option to limit Hh pathway activation is using fibrin hydrogels to deliver pathway modulators directly to tissues of interest, bypassing systemic distribution of the drug. In this study, we loaded the potent Hh pathway agonist, SAG21k, into fibrin hydrogels.
