Background: Advanced swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) devices are the current gold standard for the measurement of ocular biometric and keratometric parameters, which are essential for the calculation and selection of intraocular lenses (IOLs). This study compares the agreement of two SS-OCT devices, the Eyestar 900 (Haag-Streit, Köniz, Switzerland) and the Anterion (Heidelberg Engineering, Heidelberg, Germany).
Materials And Methods: All patients undergoing cataract surgery or seeking consultation for corneal abnormalities between January 2024 and May 2024 were eligible for inclusion.
Aim: To compare choroidal neovascularization (CNV) lesion measurements obtained by imaging modalities, with whole mount histological preparations stained with isolectin GS-IB4, using a murine laser-induced CNV model.
Methods: B6N.Cg-Tg(Csf1r-EGFP)1Hume/J heterozygous adult mice were subjected to laser-induced CNV and were monitored by fluorescein angiography (FA), multicolor (MC) fundus imaging and optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) at day 14 after CNV induction.
Background: Firework-related ocular injuries (FWROI) are a major cause of preventable visual impairment. This study aimed to analyze the occurrence and outcome of FWROI in Switzerland.
Methods: This retrospective multicenter study included patients with FWROI from seven centers in Switzerland from January 2009 to August 2020.
