Eosinophilia is a challenge to our everyday clinical practice. There are multiple causes to consider when diagnosing eosinophilia, and drug hypersensitivity must be taken into account. It is especially difficult to manage it in hospitalized patients with multiple complications and infections.

Introduction: Fetal anemia from hemolytic disease treated by intrauterine transfusion (IUT) can be performed by intraperitoneal, intracardiac, and intravascular transfusion (IVT). Objective of our study was to compare different transfusion techniques.

There are different indications for the placement of a pleural drainage. It is indicated in a massive pneumothorax or a pleural effusion, and a tunnelled indwelling pleural catheter is put in place. As in any procedure, complications may occur.
