Cryphonectria hypovirus 1 (CHV1) is successful in controlling , the causal agent of chestnut blight, but little is known regarding its transmission to other fungi, for example the European . In this study, CHV1 was transmitted (circa 200,000-800,000 copies/microliter) to seven isolates from infected . Amphiphilic azobenzene molecules offer ample scope to design functional supramolecular systems in an aqueous medium that can be controlled by light. Despite their widespread applications in photopharmacology and optoelectronics, the self-assembly pathways and energy landscapes of these systems are not well understood. Wodyetia bifurcata, also known as foxtail palm tree leaves, was tested for highly effective methylene blue (MB) removal from commercial and artificial effluent. BET surface area measurement, FESEM, FTIR, and pH were used to get information on the shape and structure of the particles.
