Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has spread rapidly across the world. Tunisia reacted early to COVID-19, resulting in a low number of infections during the first wave of the pandemic. This study was performed to model the effects of different interventions on the evolution of cases and to compare these with the Tunisian experience.

Targeted sequencing reveals the somatic mutation landscape in a Swedish breast cancer cohort.

Breast cancer (BC) is a genetically heterogeneous disease with high prevalence in Northern Europe. However, there has been no detailed investigation into the Scandinavian somatic landscape. Here, in a homogeneous Swedish cohort, we describe the somatic events underlying BC, leveraging a targeted next-generation sequencing approach.

Pooling arrangements in health financing systems: a proposed classification.

Objectives: The function of pooling and the ways that countries organize this is critical for countries' progress towards universal health coverage, but its potential as a policy instrument has not received much attention. We provide a simple classification of country pooling arrangements and discuss the specific ways that fragmentation manifests in each and the typical challenges with respect to universal health coverage objectives associated. This can help countries assess their pooling setup and contribute to identifying policy options to address fragmentation or mitigate its consequences.

Lymph node 8a as a prognostic marker for poorer prognosis in pancreatic and periampullary carcinoma.

Objectives: An investigation of patients with pancreatic carcinoma aims to identify those who will benefit from surgery. Physical examination, radiology and laboratory findings are helpful. Most prognostic markers, such as lymph node status, micro metastasis and tumour differentiation, are not preoperatively accessible.
