Background/objectives: Anterior segment optical Coherence Tomography (AS-OCT) is used extensively in imaging the cornea in health and disease. Our objective was to analyse and monitor corneal vascularisation (CVas) through the corresponding back-shadows visible on AS-OCT.
Subjects/methods: AS-OCT scans were obtained from 26 consecutive patients (eyes) with CVas of different aetiologies.
A male patient in his 50s presented with a history of sudden onset redness and pain in the right eye for 15 days. He was under prescription of topical antibiotics, steroids and lubricants by the primary treating ophthalmologist for 2 weeks with reported worsening of symptoms. He was noted to have a visual acuity of 20/32 and 20/20 in the right and left eye, respectively.

Purpose: To compare the visual outcomes of implantable Collamer lens (ICL) with small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) in cases of moderate-high myopia.
Methods: A prospective comparative study was conducted on 60 eyes of 30 patients with moderate-high myopia (-3D to -8D with astigmatism ≤1 D) at a tertiary eye care center. Patients underwent either SMILE or ICL in both eyes and had a postoperative follow-up of 1 year.
