This study investigated the error in refixing fractured teeth to stone casts. Teeth vulnerable to fracture and adjacent teeth for controls on the same casts were scanned using the Triclone contact scanner. The vulnerable teeth were fractured and refixed using cyanoacrylate adhesive and the casts rescanned.

The study investigated the effect of two disinfecting solutions on one brand of alginate impression material and dental stone. Control impressions were immersed in water for equivalent periods and the effect of storage of impressions after disinfection or control immersion in water was also investigated. There were no significant dimensional changes in impressions poured after one hour.

The study explored the use of the Internet to investigate the emotional effects of tooth loss in a Polish population. The Internet was used as a novel method of recruiting study participants. The study was announced on Internet pages in the Polish language inviting anyone who had lost some natural teeth to respond.

This study investigated the siting of the earbow mounting pins on the Dentatus ARL articulator relative to the condylar axis. Further, it showed the repeatability of registrations using the Dentatus AEB face bow and its modification as an earbow. Three face bow and three earbow recordings were made of 35 subjects.
