We report a continuous cycling peritoneal dialysis (CCPD) patient who presented initially disseminated listeriosis with peritonitis. He was successfully treated with intraperitoneal and intravenous ampicillin but died unfortunately from a cardiorespiratory arrest due to food inhalation.
