Background:  According to the World Health Organization (WHO), early mobilization is a critical component of healthcare that significantly impacts patient recovery and outcomes. Despite evidence supporting the benefits of early mobilization for abdominal surgery patients, standardized protocols remain scarce across many healthcare environments.

Aim:  This study evaluates the feasibility and impact of an early mobility protocol (EMP) on improvement in mobility and patient satisfaction in abdominal surgery patients.

This study investigates the impact of UPF1-knockdown on the expression of non-canonical/mutant proteins, employing proteogenomic to explore UPF1 role within the NMD pathway. Quantifying the changes in the tumour vascular micro-environment in spinal metastases treated with stereotactic body radiotherapy - a single arm prospective study.

Background: The primary objective was to quantify changes in vascular micro-environment in spinal metastases (SM) patients treated with stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) with multi-parametric dynamic contrast enhanced (DCE) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The secondary objective was to study plasma biomarkers related to endothelial apoptosis.

Patients And Methods: Patients were imaged with DCE-MRI at baseline/1-week/12-weeks post-SBRT.
