: This study compared diagnostic methods for meniscal ramp injury (magnetic resonance imaging [MRI], arthrotomography, and arthroscopy) to determine the most sensitive and the agreement level between them. We studied 21 patients, all young athletes with suspected anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury after trauma for at least 3 months and no evidence or history of other osteoarticular injuries in the knee. The patients underwent MRI and arthrotomography.

Chronic compartment syndrome (CCS) is a pressure increase within a non-expandable fibro-osseous space resulting from continuous and intense physical activity. Its symptoms usually improve with rest or reduced activity. It is a critical cause of lower limb pain in athletes and the second most common cause of effort-related leg pain.

Aim: To evaluate maxillary dental arch symmetry of children with unilateral complete cleft lip, alveolus, and palate before and after primary surgeries.
Design: A total of 27 dental casts were analyzed: (T1) Presurgical; (T2) Postsurgical 1; and (T3) Postsurgical 2.
Combining data from different sensing modalities has been a promising research topic for building better and more reliable data-driven models. In particular, it is known that multimodal spectral imaging can improve the analytical capabilities of standalone spectroscopy techniques through fusion, hyphenation, or knowledge distillation techniques. In this manuscript, we focus on the latter, exploring how one can increase the performance of a Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscopy system for mineral classification problems using additional spectral imaging techniques.
