Perspect Public Health
September 2024
Aims: The Global South has some of the world's largest cities, where rapid, ad hoc development of urban centres and 'megacities' has fuelled major socio-economic, environmental, and public health concerns. These urban environments can generate feelings of loneliness, with multiple barriers for access and participation in socio-cultural infrastructures. An inclusive future agenda for global creative health must, therefore, consider how urbanisation impacts social public health, what creative health approaches can do to alleviate this, and what the barriers are to access.

The objective of this paper was to describe risks factors associated with AMR on dairy farms in Québec, Canada. This observational cross-sectional study included 101 commercial dairy farms and took place over a one-year period between the spring of 2017 and the spring of 2018.

Here we quantified the long-term effects (> 30 y) of partial harvest on stand structural complexity and net primary productivity using the east-west precipitation gradient (318-2508 mm, mean annual precipitation-MAP) of western Patagonian as a study system.

It is unknown whether IPC and RIPC share common mechanisms of protection. Animals KO for NOX2, a superoxide-producing enzyme, or KO for NLRP3, a protein component of inflammasome, are not protected by IPC.
