Objective: The aim of this article is to describe conditions of abortions practices in France.
Materials And Methods: The study was based on the COCON survey. This survey was carried out among a representative sample of 2863 women aged 18 to 44 living in metropolitan France.
Background: Despite the widespread use of medical contraception in France, the prevalence of abortion remains stable. A cross-sectional population-based survey was designed to study the characteristics of current contraceptive use in France, the different types of contraceptive failure, and the reasons reported for not using contraception.
Methods: A representative sample of 14 704 French households was randomly selected from the telephone directory.
Objective: To determine if ovarian cysts are associated with a particular basal endocrine profile and impair follicular growth.
Design: Retrospective study.
Setting: In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Center.

In the case of in vitro fertilization, LHRH analogs are used to induce an hypophysary blockage, before the phase of stimulation, via administration of exogenous gonadotropin.
