Objectives: Our study aims to evaluate trends in Massachusetts in provision of highly effective contraception, including contraceptive implant, intrauterine device (IUD) and permanent contraception, in the immediate postpartum (iPP) period.

Study Design: Deliveries from 2017-2021 were extracted from a Massachusetts Acute Hospital database, and the primary outcomes included permanent contraception, iPP implant, or iPP IUD provision during delivery admission. Covariates included race, ethnicity, insurance, and hospital type.

In spite of being dispensable for catalysis, Dpb2, the second largest subunit of leading strand DNA polymerase (Polymerase ε) is essential for cell survival in budding yeast. Dpb2 physically connects polymerase epsilon with the replicative helicase (CMG,Cdc45-Mcm-GINS) by interacting with its Psf1 subunit. Dpb2-Psf1 interaction has been shown to be critical for incorporating polymerase ε into the replisome.

With the ever-increasing volume of data, the need for systems that can handle massive datasets is becoming gradually critical. High performance visible light communication (VLC) systems offer an expedient solution, yet its widespread adoption is hindered by the limited modulation bandwidth of light emitting diodes (LEDs). Through many-body perturbation theory within the approximation and the Bethe-Salpeter equation (BSE) approach, this work introduces a novel approach to achieving exceptionally high modulation bandwidth by utilizing the nearly flat bands in two-dimensional semiconductors, using SnNBr monolayer as a prototype material for overcoming this bottleneck.
