Background: A plethora of studies have reported the adverse psychiatric outcomes among the general masses during the COVID-19 pandemic; however, not much data is available in relation to the Indian population from this perspective. The aim of the present study was to investigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health status among the general masses in the Indian population.
Materials And Methods: The present study was planned in a cross-sectional study design between July 2020 and October 2021 in which a well-structured questionnaire, consisting of questions assessing the sociodemographic profile, while, also, specific questions related to the stress and anxiety-related variables, was used.
Temporally varying speckle patterns, produced by light-matter interaction encode valuable information about inhomogeneities embedded within a scattering medium. These speckle fluctuations arise either from the tuning of the emission frequency of a laser illuminating a static scattering medium or from the microscopic motion of scatterers within a dynamically scattering medium. In this work, we detect embedded inhomogeneities by probing static and dynamic scattering media with coherent light and leveraging the statistical distribution of temporal speckle differences.

Automatic text summarization is a cornerstone of natural language processing, yet existing methods often struggle to maintain contextual integrity and capture nuanced sentence relationships. Introducing the Optimized Auto Encoded Long Short-Term Memory Network (OAELSTM), enhanced by the Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA), offers a novel approach to this challenge. Existing summarization models frequently produce summaries that are either too generic or disjointed, failing to preserve the essential content.
