Patients' satisfaction with HIV and AIDS care in Anambra State, Nigeria.

Introduction: HIV and AIDS care requires frequent visits to the hospital. Patient satisfaction with care services during hospital visits is important in considering quality and outcome of care. Increasing number of patients needing treatment led to the decentralization of care to lower level hospitals without documented patient perception on the quality of services.

Aims: Determination of the prevalence and distribution of depression among health workers at tertiary level of health care delivery in Enugu South East Nigeria.

Settings And Design: A cross-sectional descriptive survey of depression in health workers at tertiary level.

This study aims to assess knowledge and perception of Nigerian long distance truck drivers on HIV/AIDS, voluntary counseling and testing and their willingness to undergo HIV screening. MATERIALS AND METHODS: One hundred and ninety seven LDTD in Enugu, Nigeria were surveyed using pre tested structured questionnaires.

Women's perception as a barrier to focused antenatal care in Nigeria: the issue of fewer antenatal visits.

The attitude of pregnant women to a new antenatal care model with four antenatal visits (focused antenatal care) is examined using a cross-sectional survey in Enugu, Nigeria. Only 20.3% of the parturients desired a change to the new model.
