Absorption, metabolism, and excretion of [C]-sebetralstat (KVD900) following a single oral dose in healthy male participants.

Sebetralstat is an investigational oral plasma kallikrein inhibitor for the on-demand treatment of hereditary angioedema. Six healthy male participants received one dose of 600 mg (540 µCi) [C]-sebetralstat. Plasma concentrations of sebetralstat and levels of total radioactivity in plasma, urine, and faeces were determined.

The steady state pharmacokinetics of trientine in Wilson disease patients.

Purpose: To determine the steady state pharmacokinetics of trientine in children (≥ 12 years of age) and adult patients who had been receiving trientine dihydrochloride therapy prior to the study.

Methods: Twenty patients were exposed to trientine (trientine dihydrochloride capsules supplied by Univar) after standard oral dosing as part of ongoing therapy. Plasma trientine concentration was determined pre-dose and at 30 min, 1, 1.

Safety and Pharmacokinetics of Bendamustine Rapid-Infusion Formulation.

Bendamustine hydrochloride (BDM) is approved in the United States to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia and relapsed indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The first formulation marketed in the United States (original BDM) was a lyophilized product requiring reconstitution prior to dilution to the final admixture. A liquid formulation of BDM was subsequently introduced that did not require reconstitution before dilution.

Efficacy of Augmentation of Cognitive Behavior Therapy With Weight-Adjusted d-Cycloserine vs Placebo in Pediatric Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: A Randomized Clinical Trial.

Importance: Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) among youth with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is effective, but many patients remain symptomatic after intervention. d-cycloserine, a partial agonist at the N-methyl-d-aspartate receptor in the amygdala, has been associated with enhanced CBT outcome for OCD among adults but requires evaluation among youth.

Objectives: To examine the relative efficacy of weight-adjusted d-cycloserine (25 or 50 mg) vs placebo augmentation of CBT for youth with OCD and to assess if concomitant antidepressant medication moderated effects.

Preliminary study of family accommodation in youth with autism spectrum disorders and anxiety: Incidence, clinical correlates, and behavioral treatment response.

Anxiety symptoms are common in youth with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and directly associated with symptom severity and functional impairment. Family accommodation occurs frequently among individuals with obsessive-compulsive and anxiety disorders; to date, no data exist on the nature and correlates of family accommodation in youth with ASD and anxiety, as well as its relationship to cognitive-behavioral therapy outcome. Forty children with ASD and a comorbid anxiety disorder participated.
