CRISIS AFAR: an international collaborative study of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health and service access in youth with autism and neurodevelopmental conditions.

Background: Heterogeneous mental health outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic are documented in the general population. Such heterogeneity has not been systematically assessed in youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD). To identify distinct patterns of the pandemic impact and their predictors in ASD/NDD youth, we focused on pandemic-related changes in symptoms and access to services.

[The televideoconsultation in support of home management of the patient with CoViD-19 by general practitioner: the results in some municipalities of the Marche Region.].

The lockdown of Italy, the re-orientation of many hospital departments into CoViD-19 patient care wards, the need to prevent the general practitioners from being infected has been arising the need of access to medical care in patients isolated at their homes. The specialists of the De Martinis Telemedicine Panel, addressing e-health issues, have been responding to the requests of general practitioners in 14 municipalities of Marche region, by implementing the televideoconsultation to 98 patients, 68 of whom with, certain, probable or supposed to be CoViD-19 infection. The patients were managed from remote until the symptoms were over.

Medical teleconsultation to general practitioners reduces the medical error vulnerability of internal medicine patients.

Background: e-Health strategies are supposed to improve the performance of national health systems. Medical teleconsultation (MT) is an important component of such e-Health strategies.

Objectives: The outcome of MT was evaluated with regard to the impact on the medical error vulnerability (MEV) of internal medicine patients.
