Aims: The COVID-19 pandemic increased alcohol consumption in the USA as a result of widespread individual changes in drinking patterns. Few studies have utilized longitudinal data allowing the prediction of increased or decreased drinking from COVID-19 economic, social, and health impacts.

Methods: Data are from 1819 respondents in the 2019-20 National Alcohol Survey and a one-year follow-up in early 2021.

We present a major update of MirGeneDB (3.0), the manually curated animal microRNA gene database. Beyond moving to a new server and the creation of a computational mirror, we have expanded the database with the addition of 33 invertebrate species, including representatives of 5 previously unsampled phyla, and 6 mammal species.

Pain is the main symptom of inflammatory arthritis and it can impair physical functional performance and physical activity level. Some individuals can develop kinesiophobia and experience a vicious circle of worsening health. Hyperactive and hyperreactive HPA axis functions are frequently reported in depressive disorders, particularly in major depression. However, research into HPA axis function in women with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), which is also classified as a depressive disorder, has shown inconsistent results.
