Background: Disease registries are comprehensive databases that record detailed information on patients diagnosed with specific conditions, providing valuable insights into their diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes. This study aims to describe the pilot phase of the national pediatric Immune Thrombocytopenia(ITP) registry (NPITP) in Iran, serving as the inaugural interpretive report.
Methods: This patient-centered software system was implemented as a national program across multiple pediatric centers in Iran.
Scoliosis is a spinal abnormality that has two types of curves (C-shaped or S-shaped). The vertebrae of the spine reach an equilibrium at different times, which makes it challenging to detect the type of curves. In addition, it may be challenging to detect curvatures due to observer bias and image quality.

In this scheme, x-ray fluorescence that occurs in the interaction of heavy-ions with target atoms is used for imaging purposes. The x-ray conversion to optical radiation and a transport-system was developed, and its first test was performed in experiments at the Universal Linear Accelerator in Darmstadt, Germany.

For applications in laboratory nuclear astrophysics, neutron fluxes in excess of 10 n/(cm s) are required. Such ultra-high fluxes are unattainable with existing conventional reactor- and accelerator-based facilities.
