Background: Pediatric cochlear implant (CI) recipients with cochlear malformations face challenges due to variable speech recognition outcomes.
Aims/objectives: This study assesses the predictive value of intraoperative electrically evoked compound action potential (eCAP) thresholds, residual hearing, age at implantation, Intelligent Quotient (IQ), and malformation type for speech recognition outcomes.
Material And Methods: A prospective cohort of 52 children (aged 1-4 years) with cochlear malformations who underwent CI between 2016 and 2024 was analyzed.
Aim: To investigate the value of the LR-5, which is based on hepatobiliary phase (HBP) hypointensity, for small hepatocellular carcinoma (sHCC) using LI-RADS v2018 criteria.
Materials And Methods: From January 2015 to December 2021 in institution 1, and from January 2019 to February 2022 in institution 2, 239 patients at high risk for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) underwent contrast-enhanced MRI. Two radiologists independently evaluated the imaging features and classified them according to LI-RADS v2018 criteria, calculating the diagnostic performance of LR-5 based on consensus data.

Background: The unmet need for contraception among adolescent women in India is a significant public health concern, contributing to unintended pregnancies and abortions. This paper seeks to examine the regional variations and factors driving rural-urban disparities in unmet family planning needs in Uttar Pradesh (UP), India's most populous state, where the total unmet need among adolescents is as high as 19%.
Methods: The study is based on 11,018 adolescent women from the recent round of India's DHS, NFHS-5 (2019-21).
Background: Premarital sex in India is hugely stigmatized. With the widespread use of mobile phones and the internet, attitudes and behaviors towards premarital sexual activities are inevitably shifting. This study investigates the impact of digital exposure, specifically mobile phones and the internet on premarital sex and contraception use among unmarried Indian youths.

Aim: The aim of the study was to evaluate and compare the shear bond strength of Activa BioActive and Giomer restorative material with different protocols of SDF pretreatment on carious dentin.
Materials And Methods: Ninety-two extracted teeth were decoronated at the cementoenamel junction, sectioned 1 mm into dentin, mounted in acrylic resin and randomly divided into four ( = 8) control and six ( = 10) experimental groups.
