[Surgical strategy in rectosigmoidal cancer].

Colorectal cancer is frequent and diagnosed earlier thanks to the screening and to the progresses in the preoperative assessment. The precocity of the surgical resection takes advantage from the complete resection of vascular and nodes involvement. The rectal localisation of the cancer requires to take the reconstruction into account.

Silastic ring vertical gastroplasty as treatment for morbid obesity: technique and results for 337 patients.

SRVG is an easy and efficient treatment for morbid obesity. It allows spectacular weight loss and by this increases notably the life expectancy. In our series of 337 patients, we have no operative mortality and a morbidity of 5.

[Sipple's syndrome (author's transl)].

Presentation of a case of Sipple's syndrome with bilateral malignant pheochromocytoma, bilateral thyroid medullary carcinoma and two parathyroid adenomas. The principal characters of the syndrome, the diagnostic tests, the necessity of a prospective survey of family relatives are discussed.
