Background: The COVID-19 pandemic had great impact on HIV care and prevention worldwide, including in Brazil. We compared HIV testing, recent infection, and annualized incidence according to the COVID-19 pandemic period among cisgender men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender women (TGW).

Setting: HIV and sexually transmitted infection testing, prevention, and treatment referral service in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Virtual simulation for teaching cardiology in nursing: a scoping review protocol.

Introduction: Virtual simulation (VS) can be an effective learning strategy in the context of nursing education on cardiovascular disease; however, its use in teaching cardiology in nursing is less studied. The objective of this scoping review is to map the use of VS for teaching cardiology in nursing.

Methods And Analysis: This scoping review will be conducted according to the Joanna Briggs Institute methods, and the results will be reported according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews checklist.

Comparison of measurements and calculated lens power using three biometers: a Scheimpflug tomographer with partial coherence interferometry and two swept source optical coherence tomographers.

Purpose: To compare the biometric measurements obtained from the Pentacam AXL Wave, IOLMaster 700, and ANTERION and calculate the recommended intraocular lens power using the Barrett Formulae.

Methods: This was a retrospective cross-sectional study of patients who underwent biometry using the Pentacam AXL Wave, IOLMaster 700, and ANTERION. Flat keratometry (K1), steep keratometry (K2), anterior chamber depth (ACD), and axial length (AL) from each device were measured and compared.

Adherence to antiretroviral therapy among cisgender gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men in Brazil: Evaluating the role of HIV-related stigma dimensions.

Background: In Brazil, ~35% of people living with HIV (PLHIV) have poor adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART). HIV-related stigma is associated with worst continuum of care outcomes, however evidence from Brazil is scarce. We explored pathways between HIV-related stigma dimensions and ART adherence among Brazilian cisgender gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (MSM) living with HIV.
