Introduction: Alzheimer disease (AD) plasma biomarkers are noninvasive measures of the key amyloid beta (Aβ) and tau pathologies. Validation and generalization studies are needed to fully understand their potential for AD prediction and diagnosis in the elderly population.

Methods: In 1,067 Amish individuals aged ≥ 65, we measured plasma Aβ and tau to assess their relationships with AD-related outcomes.

Moral Distress Consultation Services: Insights From Unit- and Organizational-Level Leaders.

Goal: The objective of this study was to better understand how healthcare systems' unit- and system-level leaders perceive and experience moral distress consultation services, including their utility, efficacy, and sustainability.

Methods: A multimethod design was conducted in tandem across two academic medical centers with longstanding and active moral distress consultation services. Moral distress data for healthcare providers participating in moral distress consultation were collected.

Background: This study aims to elucidate ancestry-specific changes to the genomic regulatory architecture in induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived oligodendroglia, focusing on their implications for Alzheimer's disease (AD). This work addresses the lack of diversity in previous iPSC studies by including ancestries that contribute to African American (European/African) and Hispanic/Latino populations (Amerindian/African/European).

Methods: We generated 12 iPSC lines-four African, four Amerindian, and four European- from both AD patients and non-cognitively impaired individuals, with varying genotypes ( and ).

Greater Dhaka area is home to large industrial clusters that are driving economic growth and the poverty reduction efforts of Bangladesh. These clusters are located around peripheral rivers- Turag, Buriganga, Dhaleswari, Balu, Shitalakhya, Bangshi, and Tongi-Khal, which are important for water transport, environment, and eco-systems where flooding of floodplains in monsoon is an integral part. The urban and industrial growth stressing natural resources has led to severe degradation of the rivers and floodplains, affecting the livelihoods, health, and well-being of the people.

Introduction: Interpersonal coordination is widely acknowledged as critical to relating with, connecting to, and understanding others, but the underlying mechanisms of this phenomenon are poorly understood. Dance-particularly improvised dance-offers a valuable paradigm for investigating the dynamics of interpersonal coordination due to its inherent ability to connect us. However, conventional approaches to studying coordination often fail to capture the co-creative spontaneity that is intrinsic to such interactions.
