Objective: The Gambling Motives Questionnaire-Financial (GMQ-F) measures four gambling motives and these overlapping constructs may be distinct but also represent an overall gambling motivation. Thus, this study examined the scale's factor structure by testing multiple-factor model configurations and then analyzing the association between these constructs and a problem gambling assessment.

Background: Despite extensive theoretical debate, empirical research on medical aid in dying (MAID) largely has disregarded broader, contextual factors as potential correlates of attitudes in hospice clinicians.

Background: Although medical aid in dying (MAID) legalization continues to expand across the United States, limited research has elucidated attitudes toward its clinical provision, especially in terms of clinician presence.

Objective: The objective of the current study was to explore attitudes toward presence throughout a patient's death via MAID in hospice physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains. Aims included (1) characterizing willingness to be present throughout patient death via MAID and (2) describing rationales for willingness.

2D agarose substrates have recently been surprisingly shown to be permissive for cell adhesion, depending on their mechanics and the use of the adhesive proteins of fetal bovine serum (FBS) in the cell culture medium. Here, we elucidate how the cells exhibit two anchoring mechanisms depending on the amount of FBS. Under low FBS conditions, the cells recognize the surface-coupled adhesive sequences of fibronectin via the binding of the heterodimer αβ integrin.
