Human butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) is an efficient bioscavenger of toxicants. Highly purified BChE was labelled with the near infrared fluorescent IRDye800CW. The goal was to determine the pharmacokinetics and fate of enzyme in mice.

Bedside ultrasound image-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) therapy could deliver higher energy therapeutic ultrasound to the thrombus with higher precision than what was previously accomplished in human trials. The aim is to test the feasibility of diagnostic transcranial contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) to image the occlusion site and continuously maintain the guidance image on-target for a sufficient exposure time for HIFU to be effective during LVO stroke evaluation and treatment.

Objectives: The purpose of the study was to recalibrate PCE and rederive prevention thresholds in a contemporary health care system and evaluate its performance across sociodemographics.
In this paper, an active ultrasound-based touchscreen technology is presented for real-time monitoring of multiple contacts on a glass panel of 20 × 19 cm. Both fundamental Lamb wave modes are generated by sending a linear chirp between 50 and 100 kHz to a single piezoelectric ceramic lead zirconate titanate. Measurement is performed using four piezoelectric ceramic lead zirconate titanate elements, and real-time localization and detection are performed on a system on module i.

We aimed to determine whether PAP termination is associated with an increased incidence of major adverse CV events (MACE) compared with adherent PAP continuation.
Methods: Data from the Pays de la Loire Sleep Cohort were linked to the French national health insurance database to identify incident MACE (composite outcome of mortality, stroke and cardiac diseases), and CV active drug (lipid-lowering, antihypertensive and antiplatelet drugs, beta-blockers) adherence (medication possession ratio ≥80%).
