Unlabelled: mGEC is associated with poor overall survival (OS) of approximately 4-10 months. CtDNA is emerging as a promising prognostic biomarker with high potential for early relapse detection. However, until now, there was little knowledge on serial ctDNA detection and its impact on early treatment evaluation and prognosis in mGEC.

This study aims to molecularly characterize a cohort of patients with BTC, with a specific focus on genomic alterations within homologous recombination repair (HRR) genes in a real-world setting.
Patients And Methods: We carried out a retrospective analysis on 256 patients with BTC treated at five Austrian centers and one German comprehensive cancer center between 2016 and 2023 utilizing comprehensive genomic profiling platforms to assess HRR status and its correlation with clinical outcomes after platinum-based chemotherapy.
4D STEM is an emerging approach to electron microscopy. While it was developed principally for high-resolution studies in materials science, the possibility to collect the entire transmitted flux makes it attractive for cryomicroscopy in application to life science and radiation-sensitive materials where dose efficiency is of utmost importance. We present a workflow to acquire tomographic tilt series of 4D STEM data sets using a segmented diode and an ultrafast pixelated detector, demonstrating the methods using a specimen of a T4 bacteriophage.

Nevertheless, besides bile duct injury, problems caused by lost gallstones represent a heavily underestimated and underreported possible late complication after LC.
Methods: Case report of a Clavien-Dindo IVb complication after supposedly straightforward LC and review of all published case reports on complications from lost gallstones from 2000-2022.
