Attitudes and behaviors that differentiate clergy with positive mental health from those with burnout.

Clergy provide significant support to their congregants, sometimes at a cost to their mental health. Identifying the factors that enable clergy to flourish in the face of such occupational stressors can inform prevention and intervention efforts to support their well-being. In particular, more research is needed on positive mental health and not only mental health problems.

Facilitators and Barriers to Naloxone Kit Use Among Opioid-Dependent Patients Enrolled in Medication Assisted Therapy Clinics in North Carolina.

Naloxone-an opioid antagonist that reverses the effects of opioids-is increasingly being distributed in non-medical settings. We sought to identify the facilitators of, and barriers to, opioid users using naloxone kits in North Carolina. In 2015, we administered a 15-item survey to a convenience sample of 100 treatment seekers at 4 methadone/buprenorphine Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) clinics in North Carolina.

Low knowledge and perceived Hepatitis C risk despite high risk behaviour among injection drug users in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Background: In Nepal, prevalence of Hepatitis C (HCV) among injecting drug users (IDUs) has been measured at 50% and knowledge of the virus is low. Rehabilitation and harm reduction attendees constitute populations to whom health care providers can deliver services. As such, characterizing their drug use and risk profiles is important for developing targeted service delivery.

Health Literacy and Its Link to Healthcare Service Utilization Among Older Adults in Korea.

Existing studies report a negative association between health literacy and hospital/emergency room use. Despite substantial research on this topic among older Americans, little is known about the link between health literacy and healthcare services use among older Koreans. This study investigates this link, using a sample of 596 adults, 65 and older, from Korea's three largest cities.
