Introduction: Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease that in some cases is accompanied by systemic manifestations. Given the varied clinical manifestations, the term psoriatic disease probably better reflects the clinical picture of these patients.
Literature Review: In most cases, the skin lesions precede joint involvement as well as other potentially involved organs such as the intestine and the eye.
Terpenes represent a flourishing source of structural motifs that can be converted into several more complex architectures. Realization of such transformations in a concise and efficient manner adds great value to the starting material. Herein, we study the case of (-)-caryophyllene oxide and convert it into natural sesquiterpenoids (rumphellolide K, rumphellaone A, and antipacid A), thus expanding the chemical space accessed by its privilege structure.

Endothelial deregulation characterizes the syndrome. To address gene expression changes accompanying the development of autoimmune phenotype in endothelial cells in the context of APS, we performed analysis in Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVECs) stimulated with IgG from APS patients and β2GPI, followed by intersection of RNA-seq data with published microarray and ChIP-seq results (Chromatin Immunoprecipitation).

In neonates, although progress in respiratory support has been a key factor in improving survival, the same degree of improvement has not been documented in certain outcomes, such as bronchopulmonary dysplasia. By exploring the evolution of neonatal respiratory care over the last 60 years, this review highlights not only the scientific advances that occurred with the application of invasive mechanical ventilation but also the weakness of the existing knowledge.
