(1) Background: Impeded resolution of inflammation contributes substantially to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease (AD); consequently, resolving inflammation is pivotal to the amelioration of AD pathology. This can potentially be achieved by the treatment with specialized pro-resolving lipid mediators (SPMs), which should resolve neuroinflammation in brains. (2) Methods: Here, we report the histological effects of long-term treatment with an SPM, maresin-like 1 (MarL1), on AD pathogenesis in a transgenic 5xFAD mouse model.

Background: Nasal ala defects present significant reconstructive challenges due to their complex anatomy and functional importance. Auricular composite grafts, incorporating both skin and cartilage, are particularly suited for this purpose because they can replace the multilayered structure of the nasal ala in a single surgical procedure, thereby restoring both form and function. Clinical outcomes of these grafts in the reconstruction of ala defects have been highly promising with studies indicating near complete survival rates.

The Nicobarese are the major tribal groups in the Nicobar district, situated south of the Andaman group of Islands. Linguistic phylogeny suggests that the linguistic ancestors of the Nicobarese settled the Nicobar archipelago in the early Holocene. So far, genetic research on them is low-resolution and restricted to the haploid DNA markers.

10X Visium, a popular Spatial transcriptomics (ST) method, faces limited adoption due to its high cost and restricted sample usage per slide. To address these issues, we propose Microarray Integrated Spatial Transcriptomics (MIST), combining conventional tissue microarray (TMA) with Visium, using laser-cutting and 3D printing to enhance slide throughput. Our design facilitates independent replication and customization in individual labs to suit specific experimental needs.
