Objectives: This study explored the feasibility of cetuximab with chemoradiation in women with cervical carcinoma and evaluated fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18F-FDG-PET/CT) to assess early response to cetuximab (NCT00292955).

Patients And Methods: Eligible patients with International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage IB-IVB invasive carcinoma of the uterine cervix were treated on 1 of 3 dose levels (DL). DL1 consisted of neoadjuvant cetuximab, then concurrent radiotherapy with cetuximab 250 mg/m2/cisplatin 40 mg/m2, followed by weekly cetuximab.

Objectives: To evaluate long-term survival and success rates of conventionally cemented partial-coverage crowns (PCCs) manufactured from high noble metal alloys (hn).

Material And Methods: Restoration-, periodontal- and tooth-related criteria on patients, restored with a single or multiple conventionally cemented hnPCCs in a private dental office were collected from existing patient records. With regard to semi-annual follow-ups, data of the most recent clinical evaluations were considered.

Introduction: This study aimed to determine the identifiability and measurement accuracy of defined bony defects of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) in cone-beam computed tomographies, depending on different milliampere-second (mAs)-reduced protocols.

Methods: Defined artificial defects were prepared on 30 condyles from 15 intact pig heads, with a maximum of surrounding soft tissue preserved. Three-dimensional imaging was performed using ProMax 3D Mid (Planmeca, Helsinki, Finland).

A 56-year-old woman with a history of diffuse large B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (DLBCL-NHL) in remission for two years presented with weight loss and multifocal sensory/motor symptoms. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the neuraxis and whole-body FDG PET/CT led to a diagnosis of secondary neurolymphomatosis (NL). MRI demonstrated extensive thickening and enhancement of multiple cranial nerves and peripheral nerve plexuses with corresponding elevated metabolism on FDG PET/CT.
