Zn Makes a Difference: Cubic ZnBiO as a Durable and High-Rate Anode for Rechargeable Na-Ion Batteries.

A stoichiometric cubic phase of zinc bismuth oxide ZnBiO (ZBO) is introduced as an anode for rechargeable Na-ion batteries. ZBO is synthesized using a coprecipitation method and characterized by various physicochemical techniques. Pristine ZBO shows a high cyclability in an ether-based electrolyte due to the formation of a robust interphase coupled with high Na conductivity.

Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy vs Chemoradiotherapy for Malignancy of Esophagus: A Prospective Comparative Study.

Introduction: Neoadjuvant chemoradiation (NACRT) followed by surgery has become the standard of care for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). This study compared the tolerability and oncological benefit of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) with those of NACRT for the treatment of ESCC.

Methods: A prospective quasi-experimental comparative study was conducted from July 2019 to August 2023 to assess the efficacy of the NACT regimen of two cycles of paclitaxel and carboplatin as an alternative to standard NACRT.

Relationship between perceived social support, mental adjustment to cancer, and depression among patients with breast cancer.

Objective: Psychological morbidity is common among patients with breast cancer. The present study aimed to find the relationship between modifiable determinants, that is, perceived social support (PSS) and mental adjustment to cancer (reflecting coping) with depression in patients with breast cancer.

Methods: A total of 76 adult patients with breast cancer undergoing treatment at a tertiary care hospital were recruited in this cross-sectional study.

Introduction: Perspectives on long-acting injectable cabotegravir/rilpivirine (CAB/RPV-LA) from HIV health disparity populations are under-represented in current literature yet crucial to optimize delivery.

Methods: Between August 2022 and May 2023, we conducted in-depth interviews with people with HIV (PWH) at four HIV clinics in Atlanta, Chicago and San Francisco. Eligibility criteria were current CAB/RPV-LA use with receipt of ≥3 injections or CAB/RPV-LA discontinuation.

Health-related quality of life of cancer patients: Findings from Western Rajasthan.

Introduction: Cancer is one of the major public health concerns leading to high trends of mortality and morbidity in India. Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) is an indicator of the sense of well-being applicable, which includes all the domains of physical, social, emotional, and functional well-being. The inferences can strengthen the palliative care needs of patients.
